How we review employment rules.
Each published requirement should point to an official government source, show when it takes effect, and identify the jurisdiction it applies to. Updates are recorded in the public change log; source rechecks alone do not count as rule changes.
Our review standards
- Prefer statutes, regulations, and official labor-agency publications.
- Keep federal, state, and city requirements separate.
- Show effective dates, coverage thresholds, and source links with each rule.
- Record substantive edits publicly and never treat missing data as an exemption.
