Arizona earned paid sick time
1 hour per 30 hours worked; up to 40 hours per year (15+ employees) or 24 hours (under 15)
Arizona's earned paid sick time law (A.R.S. section 23-372) gives employees 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours a year at employers with 15 or more employees and 24 hours a year at smaller employers. Sick time starts accruing on the first day of work and can be used after 90 days.

Local notes & what to do
Arizona's wage and sick time rules both come from Proposition 206 (2016): the minimum wage is adjusted for inflation each year ($15.15 in 2026, with $15.65 announced for January 1, 2027) and the tip rule is a flat maximum credit of $3.00 per hour rather than a percentage. Earned paid sick time has been required since July 1, 2017. Tucson and Flagstaff set local minimum wages above the state rate.
